RUR’ACT II

Munebrega (Saragossa), Spain
08/06/2024 - 18/06/2024

What was the main topic of the project?

Anett Sandberg – Dynamisation of rural areas through creativity.

Kevin Palmets – Bringing together the rural areas, making a festival and bringing together the smaller communities.

Jette Viik – The main topic was to host a festival through creativity and arts in Munebrega in order to dynamize rural areas.

What were the biggest learning moments of the event for you?

Anett Sandberg – I think I learnt the most about other cultures through communication with people around Europe. I also learnt a lot about different team building strategies and ways how to develop yourself individually.

Kevin Palmets – My biggest learning moment was how free I can feel with others, I felt really at home with those people, also I learned how to make it work with people from different backgrounds, countries and such.

Jette Viik – Teamwork! Organizing a festival with people from different cultures and backgrounds all within a week.

Do you have any plans to c0ntinue being active in the field? If yes, in which way?

Anett Sandberg – Even though I do not live in a rural area, I believe I can use the knowledge while working in any kind of teams. I would also love to participate in other youth exchanges.

Kevin Palmets – Yes!!!!! I would like to travel to all of the countries possible and meet all the great people out there and living the life there while doing projects together is just so amazing, one of the coolest experiences in my life.

Jette Viik – Yes, I'd love to, although I'm not sure yet in which way. It'd be nice to host a similar event in Estonia as well.

Would you recommend this experience to your friends? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Anett Sandberg – I would definitely recommend similar experiences to my friends, because I believe it can broaden ones horizon in a way that cannot be learnt from school. To be in a foreign country and live with people that you've never met is a unique opportunity and learning there is always interactive which makes this whole experience unforgettable.

Kevin Palmets – Yes! You get to do something you don't do every day and also meet so many people that open

your eyes in a way you didn't know yet.

Jette Viik – Absolutely! Spending a week in Spain, making new friendships that will last for a lifetime, whilst also working together for a good cause, is an experience I will never forget and wish for my friends as well :)
