"DETOX" - Digital Escape to Self-Explore - KA1 youth exchange. The COVID pandemic created a historical precedent that is still having huge effects on our daily lives. It made our addiction to technology clearly evident regarding both our interpersonal connections and our working relations.
Unfortunately, the right to disconnection has been defined on a European level only as THE RIGHT TO BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE WORKPLACE.
Our goal for the project is to expand these areas of disconnection. We will work on two different levels. On one side, we will highlight the role played by technologies in our daily life. That’s the awarnes side of the project. On the other side, we will use tecniques of meditation, music and art to carve out a space of offline connections, which will we bring back home. That's the transformative side.
APG is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2008 by active young people involved in participative processes through local youth councils and experienced in European projects. We strongly support European integration and values and we deeply believe in the power of non-formal education approaches and methodologies. APG strives to make Italy a role model of youth participation by including young people in Youth Policy and Advocacy processes at all institutional levels. We strive to empower young people by creating opportunities for them to develop as people, as professionals, as citizens.
The goal of the "DETOX" project is to use artistic expression as a tool for social inclusion and community engagement, fostering self-expression, cohesion, and active citizenship among young people from diverse backgrounds.
